THE PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL is a Pastoral
Planning Group. It is a consultative body to the Pastor to advise
about pastoral concerns and to plan in response to those concerns.
It does not take the place of other Parish Committees. There are
twelve members. Three are ex-officio (a member of the Finance
Committee, the Principal of the parish school, a parish staff
member): three are appointed by the Pastor; six elected from the
Parish. Parishioners nominate, and elect, candidates for the
positions when necessary. Elected and appointed members serve a
three year term and may serve a second term. They may serve only
two consecutive terms. The Parish Council meets quarterly, or
more as needed.
THE PARISH FAITH ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE of
Saint Hilary's plans, promotes, and implements learning programs and
opportunities that enhance the spiritual growth and human
development of the adult and young adult parish community.
